Dean Neely took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremy Dietz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Village Shires's goalkeeper Dean Neely, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jeremy Dietz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Louie Cronshagen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dean Neely read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. If Jeremy Dietz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 31 played minutes Village Shires got a freekick which was hit by Lenny Velasco. Eliseo Vernon scored 0-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lawrence Alonzo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeremy Dietz made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Wallace FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kareem Moseley to maneuver through the defense. Simon Salazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lawrence Alonzo having to interfere. Collin Lindsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Lawrence Alonzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dean Neely made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louie Cronshagen in the 63rd minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Village Shires was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lenny Velasco to maneuver through the defense. Village Shires's Dean Neely played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremy Dietz in the 71st minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Eliseo Vernon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lawrence Alonzo, 0-2. Dean Neely stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremy Dietz's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Louie Cronshagen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dean Neely having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Collin Lindsey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Village Shires's supporters rose to their feet, but Collin Lindsey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lawrence Alonzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Collin Lindsey got free with Lawrence Alonzo in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Wallace FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Village Shires's performance. The match ended with a win for Village Shires.
