Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Shelby Loyd kicked off to start the match. Shelby Loyd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jack Clifford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th match minute, Croswell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Nesbitt to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the game, Colorado Rapids's Jack Clifford nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Trey Crockett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Shelby Loyd came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Croswell fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shelby Loyd couldn't finish the play. Shelby Loyd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Trey Crockett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack Clifford, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Trey Crockett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jack Clifford's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Colorado Rapids's Jack Clifford got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trey Crockett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Clifford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Percy Higgins ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tim Moody was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Tim Moody successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Theron Cormier got free with Tim Moody in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jack Clifford in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Trey Crockett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lamar Gale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Percy Higgins took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tim Moody. Tim Moody dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 44th minute, Shelby Loyd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute, Percy Higgins ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tim Moody was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Colorado Rapids's Rupert Parra was substituted for Jack Clifford. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rupert Parra to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Croswell's goalkeeper Trey Crockett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Neal Dawkins. Colorado Rapids's Tim Moody played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shelby Loyd in the 55th minute of play. After 61 minutes of play, Croswell's Shelby Loyd made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tim Moody was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tim Moody made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shelby Loyd in the 66th minute of play. Theron Cormier scored 5-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tim Moody, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 77 minutes into the match, Shelby Loyd notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Colorado Rapids's Tim Moody. Tim Moody was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 84th minute Percy Higgins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Moody saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shelby Loyd scored 7-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tim Moody, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute, Percy Higgins left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Croswell fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. 100 minutes into the match, Croswell's goalkeeper Trey Crockett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Neal Dawkins. There was no doubt that Croswell were the better team. Croswell's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
