Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tad Womack kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarrett Singleton in the 6th minute of play forced Walton FC's goalkeeper Davis Babcock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Cliff Countess ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Davis Babcock was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience was convinced that Jarrett Singleton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Davis Babcock was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Jarrett Singleton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Davis Babcock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Jarrett Singleton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Davis Babcock came out of the goal and Jarrett Singleton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the match, Walton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cliff Countess came free, but Davis Babcock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Cliff Countess managed to get in a good position for a shot. Steel City SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cliff Countess was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Davis Babcock breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leon Gonzales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davis Babcock having to interfere. After some careless play in the Walton FC defense, Tracey Childs kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Davis Babcock. The Walton FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Davis Babcock should have stopped the shot. Jarrett Singleton took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Davis Babcock. Davis Babcock dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute, Cesar Oakes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 52nd minute, Cliff Countess got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jarrett Singleton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davis Babcock having to interfere. Davis Babcock stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cliff Countess's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Jarrett Singleton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Davis Babcock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Walton FC's goalkeeper Davis Babcock had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jarrett Singleton. Cliff Countess fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davis Babcock having to interfere. Evan Fitzgerald hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tad Womack during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Davis Babcock didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Steel City SC's Jarrett Singleton shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-7 in the ordered_time% minute. Cliff Countess kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Cliff Countess sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cliff Countess fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davis Babcock having to interfere. A well placed Cliff Countess short distance shot in the 91st minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. The Walton FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Steel City SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
