In the 7th minute, Day Heights FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tyron Roper fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 10 minutes into the match, Day Heights FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rob Daly came free, but Kelly Brandon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, Marlon Nichols hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rob Daly in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kelly Brandon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teodoro Conn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from A.J. Adkins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rob Daly in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kelly Brandon saved Day Heights FC from getting behind. Giovanni Becerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kelly Brandon having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Day Heights FC's Mohammad Pujols seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mohammad Pujols the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Day Heights FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mohammad Pujols had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Day Heights FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Queens FC:s goal. The score was 1-0 after a penalty in the 26th minute, where Queens FC:s Rob Daly tricked Day Heights FC:s Kelly Brandon with a difficult ball by the left post. 28 minutes into the game, Queens FC's Tyron Roper nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kelly Brandon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Rob Daly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kelly Brandon having to interfere. Kelly Brandon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rob Daly, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tyler Bouchard was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Day Heights FC booed when Queens FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tyron Roper didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Vincenzo Amos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Queens FC fully deserved thier win.
