Alonso Vann came out of the goal and George Morse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute, Marcellus Sierra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 42 played minutes Virginia FC got a freekick which was hit by Pete Parks. Tristan Crosby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The hamilton molten wonders players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Virginia FC were winning 0-2.

Alonso Vann didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 53rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. Tristan Crosby could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Alonso Vann made a huge save. After 94 played minutes, hamilton molten wonders's Antonio Irizarry shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hal Levy came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in hamilton molten wonders reached it. Lamar Luther got his second yellow card in the match during the 95th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground.
