Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Merlin Babcock kicked off to start the match. After 6 played minutes, Gratatia's Sol Donaldson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lucas Bergman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gratatia reached it. If Willard Hart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Westminster East's zone, Ronnie Key stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Bergman came out of the goal and Ronnie Key tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Markus Bass during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Westminster East's Markus Bass got a free kick in the 12th minute. Ronnie Key struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Lucas Bergman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gratatia. After 16 minutes, Lanny Stahl made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Westminster East's Lucas Bergman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Willard Hart's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Jennings read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 24th minute Merlin Babcock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Jennings saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lanny Stahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Bergman having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Ronnie Key got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Ronnie Key had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucas Bergman. Westminster East's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronnie Key was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Lucas Bergman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lanny Stahl in the 36th minute of the match. Christian Jennings made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merlin Babcock in the 37th minute of play. After 41 minutes of play Westminster East's Markus Bass was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Westminster East's Markus Bass got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Westminster East's Lucas Bergman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lanny Stahl in the 45th minute of play. Lucas Bergman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronnie Key, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When Gratatia's Lanny Stahl in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Westminster East's goalie prevented a goal. Lucas Bergman made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Ronnie Key sent off a good shot on target. When Willard Hart came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Westminster East fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Willard Hart couldn't finish the play. Gratatia's Christian Jennings played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Merlin Babcock in the 63rd minute of play. Willard Hart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lanny Stahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gratatia's Christian Jennings played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willard Hart in the 71st minute of play. In the 74th minute, Merlin Babcock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 75 played minutes, Gratatia's Blair Cordero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lucas Bergman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Westminster East's supporters rose to their feet, but Willard Hart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Jennings breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gratatia's Christian Jennings played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willard Hart in the 79th minute of play. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gratatia's goalkeeper Christian Jennings, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Willard Hart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Willard Hart got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th match minute, Gratatia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlo Ragland to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gratatia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
