If Micah Elkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the match, Savoy Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Terrence Pittman came free, but Rubin Dale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Homerville FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Brent Hanks scored to the left of an out of position Victor Stiles, making the score, 1-0. Micah Elkins kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 15thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Homerville FC's keeper Victor Stiles was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Phil Munson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Brent Hanks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rubin Dale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Terrence Pittman, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 37th minute Brent Hanks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Stiles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Fisher charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Fisher the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Homerville FC booed when Savoy Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Fisher didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Phil Munson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Savoy Fc's goalkeeper Rubin Dale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The wind increased when Phil Munson made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Micah Elkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Stiles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Micah Elkins came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Savoy Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Micah Elkins couldn't finish the play. Brent Hanks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Phil Munson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubin Dale having to interfere. Cameron Barajas's late challenge caught a Homerville FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cameron Barajas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th minute, Cameron Barajas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute, Phil Munson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Savoy Fc getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Blair Lange hit a great ball. Rubin Dale made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Terrence Pittman sent off a good shot on target. Victor Stiles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Micah Elkins, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Micah Elkins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Victor Stiles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Homerville FC reached it. Terrence Pittman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubin Dale having to interfere. Savoy Fc's Rubin Dale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phil Munson in the 95th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Savoy Fc's zone, Terrence Pittman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rubin Dale came out of the goal and Terrence Pittman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Savoy Fc were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Homerville FC for a fine match.
