But to his dismay, Erik Torres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 16th minute Erik Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Becerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Seattle Sounders FC's Walter Becerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Graig Sampson in the 17th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Erik Torres made a precise shot to the right of Walter Becerra. Seattle Sounders FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 23rd minute, Geoffrey Olsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Walter Becerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Walter Becerra didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Jamesburg AFC's Graig Sampson shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-4 in the ordered_time% minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Rosario Dempsey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jamesburg AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rosario Dempsey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walter Becerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 55 minutes, Wally McCracken managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jamesburg AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wally McCracken was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th minute, Erik Torres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walter Becerra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Walter Becerra was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Graig Sampson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Graig Sampson really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. When the match was over Jamesburg AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Seattle Sounders FC throughout the match.
