Spectators: 7457 (Terracing: 5700, Seating: 1747, VIP seats: 10) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Robin Valle kicked off to start the match. Charlton Nickerson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Yates, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Jeremiah Herndon charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeremiah Herndon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 played minutes Idk FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeremiah Herndon. With a little luck, Idk FC's Wendell Medeiros got control of the ball when Patrick Stein tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Jamal Williams in the 13th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Hamilton Lions's Kris Cherry. In the 20th minute, Daren Stevenson made a precise shot to the right of Charlton Nickerson. Hamilton Lions's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 25 minutes of play Idk FC's Jeremiah Herndon was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 26 played minutes Idk FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeremiah Herndon. Patrick Stein's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wendell Medeiros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Hamilton Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Yates came free, but Charlton Nickerson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute Geoff Kearns shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charlton Nickerson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charlton Nickerson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Valle in the 36th minute of play. Charlton Nickerson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robin Valle went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. If Patrick Stein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The wind increased when Rodrigo Light made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Robin Valle made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Hamilton Lions's Charlton Nickerson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Idk FC booed when Hamilton Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdul Copeland didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Jed McBride in the 57th minute really tested Charlton Nickerson's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The nice shot from Eliseo Yates in the 58thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Charlton Nickerson had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Jamal Williams's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Charlton Nickerson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Eliseo Yates sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute Rodrigo Light shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wendell Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Light received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Wendell Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseo Yates fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charlton Nickerson having to interfere. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hamilton Lions's goalkeeper Charlton Nickerson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 80th match minute, Idk FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamal Williams to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute, Victor Trimble hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Hamilton Lions's zone, Eliseo Yates stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charlton Nickerson came out of the goal and Eliseo Yates tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geoff Kearns sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hamilton Lions's Charlton Nickerson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Valle in the 93rd minute of play. After 94 played minutes Hamilton Lions got a freekick which was hit by Kris Cherry. 97 minutes into the game, Geoff Kearns cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Charlton Nickerson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Hamilton Lions fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Idk FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
