Spectators: 7320 (Terracing: 5595, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 10) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Roscoe Hamilton started the match with the kick off. Hamilton Lions's Charlton Nickerson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Scotty Bain in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Hamilton Lions's Patrick Stein fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Charlton Nickerson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roscoe Hamilton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charlton Nickerson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roscoe Hamilton, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Hamilton Lions's Charlton Nickerson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roscoe Hamilton in the 13th minute of play. Charlton Nickerson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Pelletier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Scotty Bain fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Delfina FC's protests and gave Scotty Bain a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes Delfina FC got a freekick which was hit by Scotty Bain. Rodrigo Light fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deon Light having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roscoe Hamilton in the 25th minute of play forced Hamilton Lions's goalkeeper Charlton Nickerson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Patrick Stein cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Deon Light was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Charlton Nickerson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pete Richardson in the 30th minute of the match. Hamilton Lions's Charlton Nickerson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pete Richardson in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Delfina FC's goalkeeper Deon Light had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrick Stein. Rodrigo Light sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Daryl Swartz's late challenge caught a Hamilton Lions's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daryl Swartz helped the player get up and apologised. Charlton Nickerson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pete Richardson, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 45 minutes, Victor Trimble mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hamilton Lions and the Delfina FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Delfina FC booed when Hamilton Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Trimble didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pete Richardson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodrigo Light to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Hamilton Lions's Charlton Nickerson got control of the ball when Daryl Swartz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Deon Light didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodrigo Light went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 68 minutes into the game, Hamilton Lions's Patrick Stein nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Deon Light made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Victor Trimble sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Patrick Stein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charlton Nickerson came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Delfina FC's Pete Richardson. But to his dismay, Pete Richardson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Delfina FC's Scotty Bain got his second yellow card of the match in the 85th minute. The referee ordered Scotty Bain off the ground. After having played for 87 minutes, Rodrigo Light managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hamilton Lions's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Light was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hamilton Lions's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lee Fernandez in the 94th minute. The corner ended in Lee Fernandez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Delfina FC's Deon Light did a great save. Delfina FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
