The audience thought a goal was coming when Seth Addison got free with Peter Huber in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Huber prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Peter Huber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jackson McDonald in the 47th minute of play. A collision led to Barcalona FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Jim Varner hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberto Skaggs to strike the kick off in the second half. Jackson McDonald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Peter Huber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Huber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valley View FC. 87 minutes into the match, Barcalona FC's goal looked a bit too open when Del McMahon came free, but Peter Huber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Terence Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peter Huber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seth Addison in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Del McMahon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peter Huber was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After 96 played minutes Valley View FC got a freekick which was hit by Anson Gunn. There was no doubt that Valley View FC were the better team. Valley View FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
