Spectators: 7587 (Terracing: 5691, Seating: 1745, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Patrick Hedrick started the match with the kick off. Joel Myles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lincoln Sargent having to make a save. Roland Cortes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Case having to interfere. Belvidere AFC's Damian Case played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Hedrick in the 9th minute of play. The supporters of Raleigh FC booed when Belvidere AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Watt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Myles scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lincoln Sargent, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 15 minutes into the game, Belvidere AFC's Ronald Sutton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lincoln Sargent made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Patrick Hedrick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Raleigh FC's Roland Cortes got a free kick in the 21st minute. Lincoln Sargent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronald Sutton in the 22nd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Angelo Watt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lincoln Sargent. Raleigh FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelo Watt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Raleigh FC's Lincoln Sargent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronald Sutton in the 28th minute of play. Raleigh FC's Patrick Hedrick got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute Leland Gibbons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lincoln Sargent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roland Cortes came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Damian Case could save by the left post. After having played for 33 minutes, Frankie Lacy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Raleigh FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frankie Lacy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raleigh FC's Lincoln Sargent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leland Gibbons in the 39th minute of play. Damian Case was a little too slow when Patrick Hedrick got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 1-3. After the first half Belvidere AFC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronald Sutton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Belvidere AFC's Ronald Sutton dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leland Gibbons got free with Lincoln Sargent in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raleigh FC's Lincoln Sargent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Myles in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute Ronald Sutton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lincoln Sargent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Dwayne Hewitt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Lincoln Sargent was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 66th minute, Justin Denton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 66 played minutes, Belvidere AFC's Evan Tucker shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lincoln Sargent came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Belvidere AFC reached it. Raleigh FC's Lincoln Sargent proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Raleigh FC from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Belvidere AFC defense, Frankie Lacy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damian Case. The Belvidere AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damian Case should have stopped the shot. In the 81st minute, Roland Cortes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute Ronald Sutton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lincoln Sargent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Watt hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. If Carlo Dominguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Ronald Sutton kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lincoln Sargent. That made the score 2-6 in the 95 minute of play. The Belvidere AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Belvidere AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
