VIDA's Mitchell Tripp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Elder in the 42nd minute of play. Roderick McKenna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Edgardo Elder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mitchell Tripp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Elder in the 46th minute of the match. Stacy Gary made an important save on a dangerous shot by Virgil Yeats in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eli Matos made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eli Matos in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stacy Gary saved Draper United from getting behind. Eli Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. C.D. VIDA fully deserved thier win.
