Hank Hudson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alec Paul in the 3rd minute of the match. Placerville FC's Hank Hudson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Placerville FC from getting a goal against them. 7 minutes into the match, Alberto Vasquez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hank Hudson. Placerville FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Vasquez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Vasquez got free with Hank Hudson in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Placerville FC's zone, Alec Paul stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hank Hudson came out of the goal and Alec Paul tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute, Alec Paul got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alberto Vasquez was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 23rd minute. Lincolnwood's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 29th minute Alec Paul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hank Hudson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alec Paul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saul Grady during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Saul Grady kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Alec Paul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hank Hudson having to interfere. Lincolnwood's Alberto Vasquez got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Placerville FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alec Paul fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alec Paul in the 46th minute of play forced Placerville FC's goalkeeper Hank Hudson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alec Paul to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Alberto Vasquez notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Placerville FC's Hank Hudson. Hank Hudson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alberto Vasquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Hank Hudson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Placerville FC's goalkeeper Hank Hudson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alec Paul in the 65th minute of play forced Placerville FC's goalkeeper Hank Hudson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 played minutes Placerville FC got a freekick which was hit by Nelson Arias. Alberto Vasquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Hank Hudson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Vasquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alec Paul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hank Hudson having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Placerville FC's zone, Alec Paul stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hank Hudson came out of the goal and Alec Paul tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alec Paul in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hank Hudson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Placerville FC's zone, Alberto Vasquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hank Hudson came out of the goal and Alberto Vasquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 85 minutes, Alistair Lackey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Placerville FC and the Lincolnwood players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Placerville FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Alistair Lackey hit a great ball. Saul Grady hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Vasquez in the 88th minute of play forced Placerville FC's goalkeeper Hank Hudson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hank Hudson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Vasquez in the 91st minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Lincolnwood's Alberto Vasquez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hank Hudson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There was no doubt that Lincolnwood were the better team. Lincolnwood's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
