Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. McFarland's Jermaine Riddle got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Foster Nieves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brent Colvin was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Brent Colvin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Brent Colvin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Foster Nieves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute Foster Nieves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brent Colvin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Foster Nieves to strike the kick off in the second half. Brent Colvin made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Foster Nieves sent off a good shot on target. The McFarland fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. South Bend AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
