Eddie Shearer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickey Delgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The referee ignored Smithfield's protests and gave Rickey Delgado a yellow card for diving instead. Rickey Delgado hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. If Ronny Corbin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronny Corbin in the 34th minute of play forced Smithfield's goalkeeper Manuel Ford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Casey Powell made the kick off in the second half. Lucas Francis kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Eddie Shearer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casey Powell, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Mohammed Fowler struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Manuel Ford didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Naples AFC. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Smithfield's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Corbin came free, but Manuel Ford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Smithfield's Casey Powell got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Casey Powell came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Smithfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casey Powell couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Casey Powell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eddie Shearer was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Rickey Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Smithfield's zone, Ronny Corbin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Ford came out of the goal and Ronny Corbin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manuel Ford made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mohammed Fowler in the 82nd minute. Rickey Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Ford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronny Corbin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1-3 became the score in the 93rd minute when Mohammed Fowler elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Naples AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
