Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In a very dangerous position, a player in St. Ignace FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! St. Ignace FC:s Scotty Arroyo showed great skill when he stopped Gerardo Triplett:s penalty. Scotty Arroyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dirk Singleton in the 14th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dirk Singleton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dean Richards who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Scotty Arroyo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dirk Singleton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Scotty Arroyo having to interfere. A collision led to St. Ignace FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Domenico Massey hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Dean Richards ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Scotty Arroyo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. After a rather tough play, Edgard's Domenic Russo got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute, Domenico Massey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dean Richards got free with Scotty Arroyo in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Dean Richards had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Scotty Arroyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dirk Singleton in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, St. Ignace FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dirk Singleton came free, but Scotty Arroyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Edgard's Dirk Singleton slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Scotty Arroyo. That made the score 0-6 after 73 minutes of play. Scotty Arroyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dirk Singleton in the 75th minute of the match. Scotty Arroyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dirk Singleton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, St. Ignace FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dirk Singleton came free, but Scotty Arroyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd match minute, St. Ignace FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glenn Hobson to maneuver through the defense. Scotty Arroyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Triplett in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dirk Singleton in the 88th minute of play forced St. Ignace FC's goalkeeper Scotty Arroyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Dean Richards managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Edgard's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dean Richards was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Edgard eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
