After 4 minutes, Kip Diamond mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maple Grove AFC and the Millville players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kip Diamond kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. During the 6th minute of the match Kip Diamond completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Kip Diamond a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 7th minute, Kip Diamond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charlton Yeats was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jay Bartley. 9 minutes into the match, Millville's Francisco Katz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Charlton Yeats narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Maple Grove AFC's Luke Maloney in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Millville's goalie prevented a goal. When Maple Grove AFC's Corey Tomlinson in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Millville's goalie prevented a goal. When Landon Black came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Maple Grove AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Landon Black couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute Luke Maloney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sylvester Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luke Maloney's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sylvester Miranda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Luke Maloney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sylvester Miranda having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Blaine Hurd in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sylvester Miranda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 41 minutes into the match, Millville's goal looked a bit too open when Luke Maloney came free, but Sylvester Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Maple Grove AFC's corner Samuel Reyna fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sylvester Miranda quite easily take care of the ball. Francisco Katz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Katz made a kick off. Millville's Sylvester Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luke Maloney in the 53rd minute of play. Luke Maloney recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luke Maloney during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luke Maloney kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Wiley Lind hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Millville's Francisco Katz got a free kick in the 68th minute. Luke Maloney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Sylvester Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luke Maloney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sylvester Miranda having to interfere. If Luke Maloney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luke Maloney's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Sylvester Miranda skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 82nd minute, Millville's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luke Maloney fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sylvester Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blaine Hurd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 88 minutes, Luke Maloney managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maple Grove AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luke Maloney was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Millville's Sylvester Miranda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Millville from getting a goal against them. Charlton Yeats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Green in the 92nd minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Millville were victorious despite being under pressure from Maple Grove AFC for much of the match.
