But to his dismay, Homer Dickson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Bonita's Willis Fisher quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dudley Yang, made in the 15th minute of the game. Willis Fisher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquin Adams who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Tommy Vogel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Brent Currie struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. DeAndre Scott didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bennettsville. 23 minutes into the match, Bonita's goal looked a bit too open when Donny Hart came free, but DeAndre Scott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 minutes, Homer Dickson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bennettsville and the Bonita players grew even worse after the yellow card. Homer Dickson hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. A hard shot 26 in the game by Joaquin Adams from a close distance when the talented Tommy Vogel managed to make a qualified save. Bennettsville's players were relieved. Joaquin Adams fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Vogel having to interfere. In the 29thth minute of the game Joaquin Adams who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bennettsville's Tommy Vogel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute, Donny Hart made a precise shot to the right of DeAndre Scott. Bonita's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by James Riddle in the 35th minute of play forced Bonita's goalkeeper DeAndre Scott to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DeAndre Scott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donny Hart, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. DeAndre Scott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Homer Dickson in the 40th minute of play. DeAndre Scott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donny Hart in the 41st minute of the match. DeAndre Scott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brent Currie, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. A collision led to Bonita getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Vito Sousa hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donny Hart was the one to do the kick off. Joaquin Adams sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Vogel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 70 minutes into the match, Bonita's Joaquin Adams sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Vogel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeff Goins in the 76th minute of play forced Bennettsville's goalkeeper Tommy Vogel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cyrus Gunter during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cyrus Gunter hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bonita reached it. After 86 minutes of play, Bonita's Joaquin Adams made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Vogel was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Bonita's Deshawn Flood got a free kick in the 91st minute. The supporters of Bonita booed when Bennettsville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brent Currie didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Bennettsville supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bennettsville would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
