The audience thought a goal was coming when Thaddeus Gillespie got free with Jefferson Wallace in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the match, World stars's goalkeeper Jefferson Wallace had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abraham Baker. Thaddeus Gillespies short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Jefferson Wallace to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Freeport fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Freeport's Thaddeus Gillespie looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Thaddeus Gillespie got free in front of the goal in the 65th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Jefferson Wallace was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The supporters of World stars booed when Freeport was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thaddeus Gillespie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tod Thorpe took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jefferson Wallace. Jefferson Wallace dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Thaddeus Gillespie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Jefferson Wallace tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thaddeus Gillespie took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jefferson Wallace. Jefferson Wallace dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Benito Atkinson made in the 93rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by World stars's Vincent Steiner. When the referee ended the match the Freeport players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
