Money Makers's Max Merchant got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute Asher Saunders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Donahue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Max Merchant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ricky Powers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Wieners FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eduardo Ruff made a kick off. Asher Saunderss short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Tom Donahue to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 65 minutes into the game, one of Money Makers:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Eduardo Ruff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Wieners FC's zone, Max Merchant stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeramy Madison came out of the goal and Max Merchant tried to chip the ball over his head.
