Larry Ward's late challenge caught a Nueva Villa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Larry Ward helped the player get up and apologised. Sean Salazar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Daniel Hatcher. Bloomer FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Monte Yu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Anton Romo fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nueva Villa FC's protests and gave Anton Romo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, Nueva Villa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Romo to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Monte Yu in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aidan Kirkpatrick prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Nueva Villa FC's Sterling McDonough in 23 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Daniel Hatcher guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Daniel Hatcher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Romo, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. When Moses Lim came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Bloomer FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moses Lim couldn't finish the play. Anton Romo was shown his second yellow card after 27 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Anton Romo hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Moses Lim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Larry Ward received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Aidan Kirkpatrick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Monte Yu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aidan Kirkpatrick was relentless in the 40th minute of the game.

Nueva Villa FC's Aidan Kirkpatrick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Art Alfaro in the 58th minute of play. Aidan Kirkpatrick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monte Yu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 66 played minutes Bloomer FC got a freekick which was hit by Johnathan Ladd. If Monte Yu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th match minute, Bloomer FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Simpson to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Monte Yu in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aidan Kirkpatrick saved Nueva Villa FC from getting behind. In the 91st minute, Monte Yu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aidan Kirkpatrick was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Moses Lim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Aidan Kirkpatrick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Nueva Villa FC's zone, Monte Yu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aidan Kirkpatrick came out of the goal and Monte Yu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that Bloomer FC were the better team. Bloomer FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
