Aidan Kirkpatrick was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 13 minutes into the match, Bloomer FC's goalkeeper Daniel Hatcher had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sterling McDonough. Sterling McDonough fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Hatcher having to interfere. Asher Fair hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Nueva Villa FC's zone, Moses Lim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aidan Kirkpatrick came out of the goal and Moses Lim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Monte Yu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aidan Kirkpatrick having to interfere. Anton Romo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Daniel Hatcher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bloomer FC's Andreas Thurston got a free kick in the 40th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Monte Yu to strike the kick off in the second half. Aidan Kirkpatrick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monte Yu, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Daniel Hatcher came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Nueva Villa FC's Anton Romo. But to his dismay, Anton Romo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The supporters of Bloomer FC booed when Nueva Villa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Morgan Goldsmith didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Bloomer FC's Monte Yu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aidan Kirkpatrick narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Hatcher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Romo in the 63rd minute of the match. Monte Yu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Aidan Kirkpatrick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sterling McDonough fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Hatcher having to interfere. Moses Lim took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aidan Kirkpatrick. Aidan Kirkpatrick dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Romo in the 83rd minute of play forced Bloomer FC's goalkeeper Daniel Hatcher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Gerard Holcomb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Art Alfaro during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Art Alfaro kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After 94 minutes, Monte Yu made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Nueva Villa FC's Aidan Kirkpatrick tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
