Spectators: 7491 (Terracing: 5657, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Brandon Spencer made the kick off which started today's match. MX Soccer Club's Norbert Allred played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otis Holden in the 3rd minute of play. MX Soccer Club's Cristobal Mixon got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 16 minutes, Otis Holden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pizza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Otis Holden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Norbert Allred showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otis Holden in the 19th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pizza's goalkeeper C.J. Murdock, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Geraldo Mackey charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geraldo Mackey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th match minute, MX Soccer Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geraldo Mackey to maneuver through the defense. Arnold Cabrera, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pizza's zone, Brandon Spencer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. C.J. Murdock came out of the goal and Brandon Spencer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pierre Booker hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Derek Dudley's late challenge caught a MX Soccer Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Derek Dudley helped the player get up and apologised. After 39 minutes, Brandon Spencer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MX Soccer Club and the Pizza players grew even worse after the yellow card. 40 minutes into the match, MX Soccer Club's goalkeeper Norbert Allred had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Otis Holden. A collision led to Pizza getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Pierre Booker hit a great ball. Kurtis Roy was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 48th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Otis Holden to strike the kick off in the second half. Norbert Allred took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulysses Garrison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Pizza's Ulysses Garrison in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MX Soccer Club's goalie prevented a goal. Cristobal Mixon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. C.J. Murdock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristobal Mixon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, Pizza's goal looked a bit too open when Brandon Spencer came free, but C.J. Murdock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Otis Holden came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Pizza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otis Holden couldn't finish the play. MX Soccer Club's Brandon Spencer got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When MX Soccer Club's Brandon Spencer in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pizza's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, MX Soccer Club's Kareem Benoit got a free kick in the 80th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristobal Mixon got free with C.J. Murdock in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristobal Mixon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without C.J. Murdock having to interfere. C.J. Murdock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brandon Spencer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Otis Holden blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Norbert Allred having to make a save. After some careless play in the Pizza defense, Cristobal Mixon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of C.J. Murdock. The Pizza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that C.J. Murdock should have stopped the shot. 96 minutes into the match, MX Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Otis Holden came free, but Norbert Allred reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The MX Soccer Club players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
