Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kerry Dickey took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Joseph Dorsey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pete Costello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emerson Huddleston in the 5th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kasey Dudley in the 6th minute of play forced St. James FC's goalkeeper Pete Costello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emerson Huddleston took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pete Costello. Pete Costello dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Pete Costello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kasey Dudley in the 11th minute of play. Pete Costello didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emerson Huddleston went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Walbridge AFC's Bobby Staley got a free kick in the 22nd minute. A hard shot 26 in the game by Daryl Swanson from a close distance when the talented C.J. Wilkins managed to make a qualified save. Walbridge AFC's players were relieved. The crowd rose to their feet as Clint Blount kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving C.J. Wilkins. That made the score 2-2 in the 27 minute of play. Walbridge AFC's C.J. Wilkins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daryl Swanson in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, St. James FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emerson Huddleston came free, but Pete Costello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pete Costello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kasey Dudley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Clint Blount hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pete Costello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emerson Huddleston in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Clint Blount got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, St. James FC's Daryl Swanson got a free kick in the 45th minute. The audience was convinced that Kasey Dudley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pete Costello was relentless in the 47th minute of the game.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emerson Huddleston stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arnoldo Blue came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pete Costello could save by the left post. C.J. Wilkins stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kerry Dickey's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Pete Costello successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Walbridge AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Grady Barnes in the 57th minute. The corner ended in Grady Barnes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but St. James FC's Pete Costello did a great save. Kasey Dudley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Pete Costello made a huge save. Pete Costello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emerson Huddleston in the 60th minute of play. St. James FC's Pete Costello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save St. James FC from getting a goal against them. Pete Costello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emerson Huddleston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pete Costello was a little too slow when Emerson Huddleston got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 2-3. 74 minutes into the match, Kerry Dickey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of C.J. Wilkins. Walbridge AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kerry Dickey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. When Clint Blount came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the St. James FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clint Blount couldn't finish the play. Walbridge AFC's C.J. Wilkins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clint Blount in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Walbridge AFC's Kasey Dudley nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pete Costello made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-5. Kasey Dudley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pete Costello having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Emerson Huddleston dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pete Costello, 3-6. Daryl Swanson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
