Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joseph Tilley started the match with the kick off. Pete Costello made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Jared Alston sent off a good shot on target. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Joseph Tilley got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 12 minutes, Jared Alston managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plantation FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jared Alston was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pete Costello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Fay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 played minutes St. James FC got a freekick which was hit by Daryl Swanson. Clint Blount sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kerry Dickey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Willy Warren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Joseph Tilley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pete Costello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 minutes, Daryl Swanson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the St. James FC and the Plantation FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Daryl Swanson kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, St. James FC's Kerry Dickey got a free kick in the 27th minute. Jared Alston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Pete Costello managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Plantation FC's Joseph Tilley fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 33rd minute, Andrew Leach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th play minute Joseph Tilley came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pete Costello. 1-0. Pete Costello made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Jared Alston sent off a good shot on target. Jared Alstons short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Pete Costello to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jared Alston got free with Pete Costello in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Plantation FC fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Plantation FC's Jared Alston looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kerry Dickey to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Daryl Swanson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Willy Warren. Daryl Swanson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daryl Swanson in the 57th minute of play forced Plantation FC's goalkeeper Willy Warren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emmanuel Sears during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, St. James FC's Emmanuel Sears got a free kick in the 58th minute. St. James FC's Pete Costello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Tilley in the 59th minute of play. Kelly Chaney made in the 61st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Clint Blount immediately put the ball in play. In the 63rd minute, Kerry Dickey reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Willy Warren. The goal made the score 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Plantation FC's zone, Clint Blount stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Willy Warren came out of the goal and Clint Blount tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute, Jared Alston left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Plantation FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. 76 minutes into the match, St. James FC's Clint Blount sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Willy Warren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 78th minute Kerry Dickey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willy Warren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Clint Blount fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Willy Warren, passed just outside the right post. In the 81st minute, Clint Blount hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Plantation FC fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Plantation FC's Joseph Tilley looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Plantation FC booed when St. James FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daryl Swanson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Joseph Tilley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plantation FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joseph Tilley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Plantation FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of St. James FC for a fine match.
