Jose Wall's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ethan Tucker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Oak Creek's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Viola FC the free kick. Dale Stratton hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos McCullough came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Oak Creek's Cary Orr. But to his dismay, Cary Orr quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Aidan Pennington's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos McCullough read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Art Varner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Oak Creek's Rodger Cao Xiao got a free kick in the 39th minute. Ethan Tucker was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Quintin Kemp. Ethan Tucker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Wall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Viola FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Oak Creek were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jose Wall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Rodger Cao Xiao mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oak Creek and the Viola FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Viola FC booed when Oak Creek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodger Cao Xiao didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Viola FC's Quintin Kemp tried to score from far away in the 55th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Bernie Yoder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ethan Tucker having to interfere. Ethan Tucker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Wall, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Earl Ragland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ethan Tucker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oak Creek's Cary Orr got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute Earl Ragland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ethan Tucker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Earl Ragland came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Viola FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Earl Ragland couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the match, Viola FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodger Cao Xiao came free, but Marcos McCullough reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osvaldo Munson kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Earl Ragland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ethan Tucker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Cary Orr managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oak Creek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cary Orr was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Oak Creek eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
