Nathaniel Rubin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Weldon Rosas struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Keith Vazquez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Temple City. In the 20th match minute, Adel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bob Curry to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the game, Nathaniel Rubin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Adel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Temple City the free kick. In the 24th minute, Forrest Corbin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isaiah Steward's shot from long distance in the 25th minute was not bad at all, but Adel's Keith Vazquez knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. With a little luck, Adel's Keith Vazquez got control of the ball when Isaiah Kemp tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 33 played minutes Adel got a freekick which was hit by Bob Curry. Adel's Keith Vazquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Weldon Rosas in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Weldon Rosas notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Adel's Keith Vazquez. Keith Vazquez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute Nathaniel Rubin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray Cunningham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 52 played minutes Temple City got a freekick which was hit by Raul Salas. Keith Vazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Weldon Rosas in the 57th minute of play. Keith Vazquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Salas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Isaiah Kemp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Keith Vazquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Weldon Rosas, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The supporters of Adel booed when Temple City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antony Moreno didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Temple City fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Temple City's Weldon Rosas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaiah Kemp in the 89th minute of play forced Adel's goalkeeper Keith Vazquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
