Dubois took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the match, North Canton FC's goal looked a bit too open when A.J. Dubois came free, but Filiberto Connell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to North Canton FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Walker Hernandez hit a great ball. After having played for 9 minutes, A.J. Dubois managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hawkinsville's supporters crossed their fingers, but A.J. Dubois was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the game, Dan Tobin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Filiberto Connell. Dan Tobin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Gary Esposito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Jason Siegel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gary Esposito was the one to do the kick off. Filiberto Connell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from A.J. Dubois, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clinton Pelletier got a throw-in 75 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ramon Shaver. In the 76th match minute, North Canton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Jeffers to maneuver through the defense. North Canton FC's Filiberto Connell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sammy Hilton in the 78th minute of play.
