Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gary Esposito kicked off to start the match. Filiberto Connell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wyatt Lehman in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wyatt Lehman in the 19th minute of play forced North Canton FC's goalkeeper Filiberto Connell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd match minute, North Canton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Jeffers to maneuver through the defense. Tad Swartz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Filiberto Connell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A throw-in in the 29th minute of the game was made by Walker Hernandez with Gary Esposito as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 34th minute Tad Swartz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Connell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filiberto Connell came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Orange Grove's Wyatt Lehman. But to his dismay, Wyatt Lehman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 40th minute, Gary Esposito fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The throw-in from Julian Cuevas in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by North Canton FC's Woodrow Page. In the 46th minute, Woodrow Page hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wyatt Lehman made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Gary Esposito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Napoleon Temple was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Orange Grove's Wyatt Lehman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Filiberto Connell. That made the score 1-2 after 61 minutes of play. Filiberto Connell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tad Swartz in the 64th minute. Filiberto Connell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wyatt Lehman in the 67th minute of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Tad Swartz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orange Grove's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tad Swartz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute, North Canton FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tad Swartz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dominic Elliot during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 79 played minutes Orange Grove got a freekick which was hit by Dominic Elliot. If Lyle Daniels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orange Grove's Napoleon Temple played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gary Esposito in the 83rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Gary Esposito managed to get in a good position for a shot. North Canton FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gary Esposito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Napoleon Temple breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kelly Houston could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Filiberto Connell made a huge save. Filiberto Connell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wyatt Lehman went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score.
