Napoleon Temple made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sammy Hilton in the 4th minute. Jason Siegel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kelly Houston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th match minute, Orange Grove was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vince Canales to maneuver through the defense. Sammy Hilton came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Napoleon Temple could save by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Hawkinsville's Sammy Hilton slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Napoleon Temple. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. Orange Grove's Napoleon Temple played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Tobin in the 19th minute of play. If A.J. Dubois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A.J. Dubois fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Napoleon Temple having to interfere. After 30 played minutes, Hawkinsville's Wesley Hays shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Napoleon Temple came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hawkinsville reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Tobin in the 32nd minute of play forced Orange Grove's goalkeeper Napoleon Temple to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Kelly Houston left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Orange Grove fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. 47 minutes into the match, Hawkinsville's Dan Tobin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Napoleon Temple narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Wyatt Lehman made the kick off in the second half. Jason Siegel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wyatt Lehman in the 59th minute of play. After 70 minutes of play, Hawkinsville's Dan Tobin made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Napoleon Temple was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 74 minutes, Taylor Kurtz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Orange Grove and the Hawkinsville players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th minute, Taylor Kurtz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute A.J. Dubois shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Napoleon Temple saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jason Siegel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wyatt Lehman, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Orange Grove's goal looked a bit too open when A.J. Dubois came free, but Napoleon Temple reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Shaver in the 83rd minute of play forced Orange Grove's goalkeeper Napoleon Temple to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Wyatt Lehman took a quick shot and it went in 5-2 without a chance for Jason Siegel to make any attempt to save it. Napoleon Temple showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sammy Hilton in the 94th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Tad Swartz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orange Grove's supporters rose to their feet, but Tad Swartz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jason Siegel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
