Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Wyatt Lehman made the kick off and thus started the match. If Gary Esposito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 4th minute, Lyle Daniels left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The North Canton FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 9th minute of the match, Wyatt Lehman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Filiberto Connell saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to North Canton FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Lyle Daniels hit a great ball. After 15 played minutes North Canton FC got a freekick which was hit by Woodrow Page. After 19 minutes of play, North Canton FC's Gary Esposito made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Napoleon Temple was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in North Canton FC's zone, Wyatt Lehman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filiberto Connell came out of the goal and Wyatt Lehman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Napoleon Temple came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by North Canton FC's Gary Esposito. But to his dismay, Gary Esposito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Filiberto Connell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wyatt Lehman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, North Canton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wyatt Lehman came free, but Filiberto Connell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 played minutes, Orange Grove's Julian Cuevas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Filiberto Connell came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Orange Grove reached it. In the 38th minute Woodrow Page shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Napoleon Temple saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Brent Delaney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half North Canton FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gary Esposito made the kick off in the second half. Gary Esposito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filiberto Connell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wyatt Lehman in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of North Canton FC booed when Orange Grove was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Cuevas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filiberto Connell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tad Swartz went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. A sloppy throw-in by Julian Cuevas in the 74th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by North Canton FC's Eduardo Mackey. After 76 minutes, Wyatt Lehman made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. North Canton FC's Filiberto Connell tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 80 minutes into the game, Julian Cuevas threw the ball into play from the sideline. North Canton FC's Eduardo Mackey quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of Orange Grove booed when North Canton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lyle Daniels didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filiberto Connell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wyatt Lehman's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gary Esposito in the 84th minute of play forced Orange Grove's goalkeeper Napoleon Temple to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the North Canton FC defense, Wyatt Lehman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filiberto Connell. The North Canton FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filiberto Connell should have stopped the shot. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
