With his leg Dana Duncan managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Pepper Pike FC's Eddy Washington fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 34 minutes, Wallace Wooten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flagstaff's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wallace Wooten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pat Chandler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wallace Wooten in the 46th minute of the match. Wallace Wooten struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Pat Chandler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flagstaff. In the 96th minute, Hayden Steward got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Despite being the better team, Flagstaff failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
