Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Guy Landis made the kick off which started today's match. Wilfred McDaniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Pruitt in the 12th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Guy Landis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Plains FC's Wilfred McDaniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Pruitt in the 17th minute of play. The Plains FC's Guy Landis got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ronnie Grace charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronnie Grace the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 1-1 came in the 34th minute when Theron Stratton all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Fabian Kent. Guy Landiss short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Fabian Kent to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 40th minute Ruben Kyle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfred McDaniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 52 minutes, Tuan Fuentes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Plains FC and the Swarthmore AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, The Plains FC's Tuan Fuentes got a free kick in the 53rd minute. With a little luck, The Plains FC's Wilfred McDaniel got control of the ball when Hugo Pruitt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rick Cano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfred McDaniel having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, The Plains FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rick Cano came free, but Wilfred McDaniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Hugo Pruitt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Silas Maurer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, The Plains FC's Silas Maurer got a free kick in the 66th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Guy Landis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabian Kent. Swarthmore AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guy Landis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. A collision led to The Plains FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Theron Stratton hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Hugo Pruitt notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of The Plains FC's Wilfred McDaniel. Wilfred McDaniel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
