The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Connor Reynolds in the 17th minute of play forced Woodchuckers's goalkeeper Sidney Hager to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Massapequa's Connor Reynolds ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sidney Hager. Sidney Hager yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. The supporters of Massapequa booed when Woodchuckers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marlin Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Connor Reynolds was the one to do the kick off. After 64 minutes of play, Massapequa's Connor Reynolds made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sidney Hager was left in no man's land by his defense there! Connor Reynolds recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Napoleon Ulrich in the 82nd minute of play forced Woodchuckers's goalkeeper Sidney Hager to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Napoleon Ulrich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Sidney Hager tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute Napoleon Ulrich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidney Hager saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Connor Reynolds ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sidney Hager was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. There was no doubt that Massapequa were the better team. Massapequa's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
