Dominique Carlton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Louis Young made a huge save. In the 16th minute, Southaven AFC's Aurelio Rainey seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Aurelio Rainey the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Southaven AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Aurelio Rainey had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 15th minute, one of Southaven AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Southaven AFC. In the 20th minute, Emerson Page got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Weston Potter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th match minute, Southaven AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giuseppe Aranda to maneuver through the defense. When Nesara's Dominique Carlton in 32 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Nesara's supporters rose to their feet, but Emerson Page was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Louis Young breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 76 minutes, Dominique Carlton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nesara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dominique Carlton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Weston Potter took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ward Montgomery. Ward Montgomery dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 82ndth minute of the game Dominique Carlton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Southaven AFC's Louis Young was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dominique Carlton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
