Devin Whitman kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Wally Marquez came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Tottenham Hotspur's Jeff Mahoney. But to his dismay, Jeff Mahoney quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Tottenham Hotspur getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Giuseppe Clifton hit a great ball. Tottenham Hotspur's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Flint Espinoza scored to the left of an out of position Lawrence Escobedo, making the score, 1-1. Jeff Mahoney scored 1-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wally Marquez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 76th minute, Rigoberto Engle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wally Marquez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4.
