The crowd rose to their feet as Mello FC's Cedric Parson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dirk Landreth. That made the score 1-0 after 23 minutes of play. Nolan Shapiro hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, Morrilton's goal looked a bit too open when Cedric Parson came free, but Dirk Landreth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 72 minutes, Oswaldo Mayberry managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morrilton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oswaldo Mayberry was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
