Randall Gregory showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Scotty Owens in the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, MTZ Football Club's goalkeeper Tyson Brooks had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Perry McGee. MTZ Football Club's Tyson Brooks proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save MTZ Football Club from getting a goal against them. After having played for 20 minutes, Dexter Redmond managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MTZ Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dexter Redmond was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Conyngham AFC's Randall Gregory played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dexter Redmond in the 28th minute of play. Dexter Redmond blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Randall Gregory having to make a save. Perry McGee's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tyson Brooks read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Eli Samuel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Nick Butcher fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MTZ Football Club's protests and gave Nick Butcher a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the MTZ Football Club defense, Eli Samuel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tyson Brooks. The MTZ Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tyson Brooks should have stopped the shot. Conyngham AFC's Eli Samuel got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tyson Brooks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eli Samuel in the 39th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Eli Samuel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dexter Redmond made a kick off. Tyson Brooks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eli Samuel in the 51st minute of the match. Tyson Brooks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perry McGee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, MTZ Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Perry McGee came free, but Tyson Brooks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Conyngham AFC's Van Myles got a free kick in the 93rd minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Conyngham AFC fully deserved thier win.
