Marlton AFC's Jerome Storr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Rivas in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute Harry Rivas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerome Storr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marlton AFC's Jerome Storr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Rivas in the 27th minute of play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquin Ladd showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 37 minutes of play, Marlton AFC's Clayton Lunsford made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marlton AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. If Donny Boggs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. Jerome Storr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
