Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jeremiah Butler took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Randell Sandoval came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Rosamond FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Randell Sandoval couldn't finish the play. Curt Suarez hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute Harry Rivas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Riley Guerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Ladd didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Korey Willard went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Riley Guerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnson Sheldon, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 22ndth minute of the game Harry Rivas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rosamond FC's Riley Guerra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Riley Guerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Rivas, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute of the match Claude Sampson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Riley Guerra showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Indiana United FC's goalkeeper Joaquin Ladd had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roscoe Davila. Eusebio Bliss charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusebio Bliss the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roscoe Davila in the 31st minute of play forced Indiana United FC's goalkeeper Joaquin Ladd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Rosamond FC's Korey Willard in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Indiana United FC's goalie prevented a goal. Harry Rivas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Riley Guerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Rosamond FC's Korey Willard got a free kick in the 36th minute. Korey Willard's late challenge caught a Indiana United FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Korey Willard helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd minute, Donny Boggs made a precise shot to the right of Riley Guerra. Rosamond FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 46 minutes into the match, Rosamond FC's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Rivas came free, but Riley Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Harry Rivas to make the kick off. The supporters of Indiana United FC booed when Rosamond FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roscoe Davila didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute Harry Rivas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Riley Guerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Roscoe Davila ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Ladd was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Joaquin Ladd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Randell Sandoval in the 71st minute of play. Indiana United FC's Harry Rivas got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute Jeremiah Butler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Ladd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donny Boggs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Riley Guerra made a huge save. 86 minutes into the match, Rosamond FC's goalkeeper Riley Guerra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donny Boggs. Randell Sandoval fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Ladd having to interfere. Indiana United FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
