The supporters of Woodlyn FC booed when Burlingame Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Von Carbajal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute of the match Fabian Kendall sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lewis Parish skillfully saved the ball. Woodlyn FC's Son Hoyt suffered a sore thigh after 8 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Woody Huggins fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Burlingame Football Club's protests and gave Woody Huggins a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes Burlingame Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Woody Huggins. In the 11th minute of the match Woodlyn FC got a corner. Burlingame Football Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leonard McGee ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Leonard McGee got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lewis Parish quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 12 minutes, Ignacio Puckett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Woodlyn FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Puckett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Woodlyn FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! The crowd rose to their feet as Clark Woodson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nathaniel Miranda. That made the score 2-0 in the 27 minute of play. Ignacio Puckett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lewis Parish having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Hunter Locke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Woodlyn FC's Nathaniel Miranda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Woodlyn FC from getting a goal against them. Ignacio Puckett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Woodlyn FC's Clark Lacey got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ignacio Puckett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 minutes, Ollie Staley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Woodlyn FC and the Burlingame Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Woodlyn FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ollie Staley hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Julio Peachey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ignacio Puckett to make the kick off. When Burlingame Football Club's Clark Woodson in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Woodlyn FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Burlingame Football Club's zone, Ignacio Puckett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lewis Parish came out of the goal and Ignacio Puckett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Burlingame Football Club getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Hunter Locke hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the game, Clark Woodson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Nathaniel Miranda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Woodlyn FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Trenton Rodrigues hit a great ball. Nathaniel Miranda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clark Woodson went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Clark Woodson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Nathaniel Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clark Woodson in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nathaniel Miranda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Clark Lacey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, Woodlyn FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clark Woodson came free, but Nathaniel Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lewis Parish made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clark Lacey in the 86th minute. Nathaniel Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clark Woodson in the 88th minute of the match. Nathaniel Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clark Woodson in the 90th minute of play. Nathaniel Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Peachey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Burlingame Football Club were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Woodlyn FC for a fine match.
