Frank Tompkins started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Houston Mayberry was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New York FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NnaBaby FC the free kick. The supporters of NnaBaby FC booed when New York FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Houston Mayberry didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vincenzo Jewell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cory Lambert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. New York FC's Vincenzo Jewell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denver Hayes in the 6th minute of play. Cory Lambert struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Vincenzo Jewell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NnaBaby FC. When Mark Roy fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New York FC's protests and gave Mark Roy a yellow card for diving instead. Mark Roy hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Vincenzo Jewell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denver Hayes in the 9th minute of play. Vincenzo Jewell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denver Hayes, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Denver Hayes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vincenzo Jewell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of New York FC booed when NnaBaby FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cory Lambert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Craig Kellogg kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Tompkins in the 29th minute of play forced NnaBaby FC's goalkeeper Louis Tanner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Cory Lambert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincenzo Jewell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. NnaBaby FC's Louis Tanner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Tompkins in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denver Hayes in the 35th minute of play forced New York FC's goalkeeper Vincenzo Jewell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denver Hayes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincenzo Jewell having to interfere. Cory Lambert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Vincenzo Jewell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cory Lambert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincenzo Jewell having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Denver Hayes made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Houston Mayberry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Louis Tanner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th match minute, New York FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geoffrey Howell to maneuver through the defense. Vincenzo Jewell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cory Lambert in the 55th minute. The supporters of New York FC booed when NnaBaby FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Craig Kellogg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Tompkins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Louis Tanner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, NnaBaby FC's goal looked a bit too open when King Bean came free, but Louis Tanner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Denver Hayes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vincenzo Jewell. Denver Hayes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Frank Tompkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Louis Tanner having to interfere. New York FC's Vincenzo Jewell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save New York FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in New York FC's zone, Denver Hayes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vincenzo Jewell came out of the goal and Denver Hayes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cory Lambert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Vincenzo Jewell made a huge save. New York FC's Vincenzo Jewell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denver Hayes in the 78th minute of play. Louis Tanner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from King Bean in the 80th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in New York FC's zone, Denver Hayes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vincenzo Jewell came out of the goal and Denver Hayes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denver Hayes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincenzo Jewell having to interfere. Vincenzo Jewell made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Cory Lambert sent off a good shot on target. After 93 played minutes NnaBaby FC got a freekick which was hit by Craig Kellogg. When the final whistle sounded NnaBaby FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than New York FC.
