Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Scotty Foote made the kick off and thus started the match. A sloppy throw-in by Stephan Downey in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by New Eagle AFC's Robby Church. Roma AFC's attentive Stephan Downey managed to snatch the ball when Taylor Clancy made a throw-in in the 5th minute of the game. The throw-in from Brendan Pierce in the 8th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by New Eagle AFC's Trey Hirsch. In the 21st minute, Scotty Foote ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lawrence Kaplan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Scotty Foote received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Lawrence Kaplan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Roma AFC's zone, Scotty Foote stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lawrence Kaplan came out of the goal and Scotty Foote tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilbert Hutchinson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lewis Cameron in the 46th minute. After the first half New Eagle AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lewis Cameron to strike the kick off in the second half. Roma AFC's Alec Crusher quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alec Yates, made in the 54th minute of the game. Gilbert Hutchinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norman Draper in the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Starr in the 62nd minute of play forced Roma AFC's goalkeeper Lawrence Kaplan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute of the game Trey Hirsch made a throw-in which Jerry Thorne played forward. Gilbert Hutchinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachary Macias in the 68th minute of play. After 74 played minutes New Eagle AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinand Starr. Lewis Cameron might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilbert Hutchinson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lewis Cameron ran back to his position shaking his head. Gilbert Hutchinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norman Draper in the 81st minute of the match. Roma AFC's Norman Draper got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Despite being the better team, New Eagle AFC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
