Clay Hunter charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clay Hunter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC Pizza's Clay Hunter got a free kick in the 7th minute. When Marquis Copeland fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Taos's Sung Delong sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zackary Sharpe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the FC Pizza defense, Woody Parson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zackary Sharpe. The FC Pizza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zackary Sharpe should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Taos's Caleb Grant got a free kick in the 35th minute. The supporters of Taos booed when FC Pizza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clay Hunter didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Pizza's Zackary Sharpe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Woody Parson in the 41st minute of play. When Woody Parson came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Taos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Woody Parson couldn't finish the play. If Clay Hunter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sung Delong made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jospeh Knight in the 51st minute of play forced Taos's goalkeeper Parker Swift to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Clay Hunter came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the FC Pizza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clay Hunter couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute, Waldo Copeland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, FC Pizza's goal looked a bit too open when Sung Delong came free, but Zackary Sharpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 played minutes FC Pizza got a freekick which was hit by Jospeh Knight. A collision led to Taos getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Caleb Grant hit a great ball. Clay Hunter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Parker Swift tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Waldo Copeland's late challenge caught a Taos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Waldo Copeland helped the player get up and apologised. Waldo Copeland kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Woody Parson succeeded in the game's 87th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. The Taos players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
