Wesley Vilter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudolf Walsh, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Robert Davidson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 33 minutes, Robert Davidson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Loyal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Davidson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Stars Aletico's goal looked a bit too open when Thaddeus Burrell came free, but Wesley Vilter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvin Marcus in the 40th minute of play forced Stars Aletico's goalkeeper Wesley Vilter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Wesley Vilter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Davidson in the 52nd minute of the match. If Anton Mason had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Loyal FC booed when Stars Aletico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremiah Harrison didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wesley Vilter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 77th minute, Robert Davidson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wesley Vilter. The goal made the score 0-4. Joey Lang made in the 80th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Stars Aletico's Stanley Fujieda. After having played for 82 minutes, Rudolf Walsh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Loyal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rudolf Walsh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th minute, Alvin Marcus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wesley Vilter was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. After 88 played minutes Loyal FC got a freekick which was hit by Alvin Marcus. Loyal FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
