Nolan Malloy was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. Vamo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Nolan Malloy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danny Delgado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Nolan Malloy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nolan Malloy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nolan Malloy struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Danny Delgado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vamo. The Vamo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. King-Clovers were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Heriberto Connor to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Vamo's Norberto Schneider got control of the ball when Sean Daley tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sean Daley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Norberto Schneider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in King-Clovers's zone, Ignacio Pereira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danny Delgado came out of the goal and Ignacio Pereira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a defensive mix-up in Vamo's zone, Luciano Adair stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norberto Schneider came out of the goal and Luciano Adair tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 98 minutes into the match, Vamo's Ignacio Pereira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danny Delgado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. King-Clovers walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
