Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zack Rogers kicked off to start the match. The supporters of North Kingsville booed when Colorado FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Muniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dale Jefferson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Derek Carey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Colorado FC's Emery Pratt got a free kick in the 5th minute. Dale Jefferson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Colorado FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zack Rogers came free, but Derek Carey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Gabriel Rosales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Dale Jefferson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Zack Rogers came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the North Kingsville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zack Rogers couldn't finish the play. In the 25th match minute, Colorado FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emery Pratt to maneuver through the defense. After 26 played minutes, North Kingsville's William Morales shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Derek Carey came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in North Kingsville reached it. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Dale Jefferson sped through Colorado FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Derek Carey. Derek Carey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dale Jefferson, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute, Emery Pratt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. William Morales took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Derek Carey. Colorado FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the Colorado FC defense, Dale Jefferson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Derek Carey. The Colorado FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Derek Carey should have stopped the shot. Derek Carey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zack Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dale Jefferson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Derek Carey having to make a save. If Zack Rogers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dale Jefferson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 46 played minutes North Kingsville got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Barnard. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emery Pratt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes North Kingsville got a freekick which was hit by Leland Lang. If Zack Rogers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. North Kingsville's Dale Jefferson got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlo Barnard kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Carlo Barnard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Derek Carey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zack Rogers struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Derek Carey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for North Kingsville. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlo Barnard in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Derek Carey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Charles Muniz during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Derek Carey acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 81st minute, took the ball on the long shot from William Morales. Dale Jeffersons short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Derek Carey to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Dale Jefferson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. North Kingsville played a much better game than Colorado FC and deserved their victory. The Colorado FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
