Spectators: 5005 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1005, VIP seats: 0) Domingo Burkhart started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes in the game, Adrian Burt dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ward Simons in the 7th minute of play forced Elton Vale First's goalkeeper Rey Ivy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristobal Jensen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Patrick Wood. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. In the 13th minute, Rusty Ziegler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rey Ivy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ward Simons, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kyle Shaw took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rey Ivy. Elton Vale First's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Elton Vale First's Rusty Ziegler got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th match minute, Elton Vale First was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rusty Ziegler to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the game, Glenside's Ward Simons nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rey Ivy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 34th minute, Ward Simons made a precise shot to the right of Rey Ivy. Elton Vale First's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After 37 minutes of play, Glenside's Ricky Pierce made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rey Ivy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Elton Vale First made a substitution. James Madsen replaced Cristobal Jensen. Bradley Dent was extremely unlucky when he, in the 41st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jospeh Teague hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. A hard shot 45 in the game by Bradley Dent from a close distance when the talented Patrick Wood managed to make a qualified save. Glenside's players were relieved. The crowd rose to their feet as Rusty Ziegler kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Patrick Wood. That made the score 2-3 in the 48 minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ward Simons stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling James Madsen in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrick Wood prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Patrick Wood showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bradley Dent in the 54th minute of the match. Patrick Wood stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bradley Dent's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Bradley Dent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Patrick Wood tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. James Madsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Wood having to interfere. Bradley Dent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Patrick Wood tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rusty Ziegler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jospeh Teague hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Glenside's zone, James Madsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrick Wood came out of the goal and James Madsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Rusty Ziegler put it in 4-3 from a short distance just to the right of Patrick Wood. In the 77th match minute, Glenside was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Burt to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute Bradley Dent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Wood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Adrian Burt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Glenside's Wiley Couch got a free kick in the 88th minute. Elton Vale First's Rey Ivy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ward Simons in the 92nd minute of play. Bradley Dent blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patrick Wood having to make a save. In the 97th match minute, Glenside was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jospeh Teague to maneuver through the defense. Elton Vale First walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
