Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rolland Winslow started the match with the kick off. Jackson Plummer came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Glenside's Adrian Burt. But to his dismay, Adrian Burt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, C.D. Santa Clara's Rolland Winslow sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patrick Wood narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 17thth minute of the game Rolland Winslow who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Glenside's Patrick Wood was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Glenside's goal looked a bit too open when Rolland Winslow came free, but Patrick Wood reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Glenside getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Ricky Pierce hit a great ball. Ward Simons was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 24th minute. Glenside's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Rolland Winslow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 29 played minutes Glenside got a freekick which was hit by Jeffrey Dotson. Rolland Winslow might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patrick Wood. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rolland Winslow ran back to his position shaking his head. If Rolland Winslow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ward Simons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ward Simons recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ward Simons stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adrian Burt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Patrick Wood managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when C.D. Santa Clara's Mitchell Fenton fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ward Simons in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jackson Plummer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, C.D. Santa Clara's Tommy Lockhart got a free kick in the 61st minute. Roberto Lewis charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roberto Lewis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Glenside booed when C.D. Santa Clara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Lewis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Rolland Winslow got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rolland Winslow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Glenside booed when C.D. Santa Clara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wade Cardwell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ward Simons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Glenside's goal looked a bit too open when Rolland Winslow came free, but Patrick Wood reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mitchell Fenton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Patrick Wood made a huge save. Wade Cardwell hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Jackson Plummer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ward Simons in the 94th minute of the match.
